Tips
& Resources | Internships & Activities
- For students who want to complete or retake high school coursework,
or those with learning disabilities, summer is a good time to
learn skills to help make your academic experience better. Summer
options for study include one-on-one academic and learning support
at programs with campuses throughout King County including Dartmoor
and EA2, with special options
for those with ADHD or other learning disabilities. In many
cases, high schools will provide credit for these courses. In
addition, EA2 can help support students taking UW online courses
achieve college credit.
- For those interested specifically in languages, including
many not available in local high schools, consider the Seattle
Language Academy for high school credit, or Washington
Academy of Languages and local community colleges for college
credit. Remember to check with your high school to assure that
credit will apply prior to registering for classes.
