Some colleges ask that applications for admissions be submitted ahead of schedule if a student is seeking merit or scholarship aid. It is important to check both the admissions (calendar of deadlines) and the financial aid pages for all of your colleges to see if this early deadline applies. In addition, the University of Washington Priority deadline for summer and fall 2010 is December 1st. Meeting this deadline speeds the application review process, and assures that students are considered by selected academic departments that admit freshmen and award scholarships.
